Everything you need to know to participate as a speaker at the AMS International Conference
How to submit your proposal to AMS 2027.
These are the rules common to all three participation types. Read them before starting your submission to ensure your proposal meets the formal requirements of the conference.
REVIEW PROCESS
Double-blind peer review.
All correctly submitted abstracts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The organisation reserves the right to make minor formal corrections prior to publication.
The scientific committee will assess
Scientific quality
Methodological rigour, soundness of sources and consistency of arguments.
Relevance
Concrete contribution to the field of media and algorithmic literacy.
Originality
Unpublished nature of the research or the proposed approach.
Thematic fit
Clear alignment with one of the 8 thematic areas of the conference.
The scientific committee will decide
- Acceptance or rejection of the proposal.
- The final presentation type (paper, panel or poster).
Accepted abstracts
- Form part of the official scientific programme.
- Are presented in person in Madrid.
- Are published in the official book of abstracts.
