The purpose of this website is to provide information on the object, scope and development of the AMS 2027 International Conference (Algorithms, Media and Society), organised by the Research Project on Knowledge and Algorithmic Literacy —ALGORLIT— of Universidad San Pablo CEU. All sections of the website are enabled for consultation and use, and their content is in line with the activities of the website being browsed.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights, users are informed that the personal data provided through the forms on this website will be processed by FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA SAN PABLO CEU (FUSP-CEU), as data controller.
In the case of the AMS 2027 International Conference, these forms include participant registration and the submission of conference proposals in their various formats, managed through the institution’s Microsoft SharePoint platform.
Data will be processed for the purpose of managing information requests, registration and participation in the conference, as well as to keep the data subject informed about initiatives, projects and activities related to the academic and research sphere of the Foundation and entities linked to CEU, always in accordance with the applicable legal basis.
The legal basis for data processing will be the consent of the data subject, the performance of the relationship arising from registration or participation in the conference and, where applicable, compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected and, subsequently, for the periods required by law.
Participants are also informed that during the conference, photographs, audiovisual recordings and live streams may be taken for informational, dissemination, academic, institutional and promotional purposes. The images and recordings obtained may be published on websites, corporate social media, activity reports, institutional publications, media and other dissemination channels of FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSITARIA SAN PABLO CEU and entities linked to CEU. Participation in the conference implies awareness of this circumstance.
FUSP-CEU may communicate personal data to CEU-linked entities (*) where necessary for the management of the activity or where there is an adequate legal basis for doing so. No international transfers of data are envisaged, except where required by law or where technically necessary and duly covered by the safeguards provided for in current regulations.
