Getting around the city
- From the airport: Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is connected to the city centre via metro line 8. The journey to Nuevos Ministerios takes approximately 25 minutes.
- Metro: 13 lines and more than 300 stations. The 10-trip pass (zone A) is the most economical option for short stays. Fares are updated annually; please check the current price on the official website.
- Urban bus (EMT): A dense network across the city, complementing the metro.
- Taxi and ride-hailing apps: Available throughout the city. Cabify, Uber and Free Now operate in Madrid.
